Implants

Dental implants are a permanent, fixed solution for missing teeth. With a diverse skillset and the latest advancements in technology, Dental on Main is able to place and restore dental implants and mini implants from the comfort of our practice.

Maybe you were simply born with it… A gap or missing tooth?

Perhaps you won the trophy but lost your four front teeth in last weekend’s soccer tournament? Or maybe you would like to say goodbye to a removable denture that keeps falling out?

What do you do when one of your teeth becomes infected or damaged and cannot be restored anymore?

At Dental on Main, we specialise in restoring your smile and function by offering dental implant solutions to suit your needs. We use Dental Implants to replace a missing tooth and achieve a better looking smile and of course enhanced function.

Using Dental Cone Beam Computed tomography we produce three (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissue, nerve pathways, vital structures and bone in a single scan.

Our in-office imaging technique that provides 3-dimensional images are important in planning the placement of dental implants to ensure safe and predictable treatment outcomes. With its low cost, relatively low radiation, and ease of use, it is a routine imaging technique for all our dental implant treatments.

CBCT imaging allows us to accurately measure and localize the available bone. Using 3-D software, we create a virtual implant placement with precise position and adequate bone coverage. If bone is deficient, it is augmented using bone grafting techniques. We place the implant where it best supports the restoration while keeping it in healthy and abundant bone. We also perform guided implant surgery (below) with a 3d printed surgical stent. The surgical stent is a tool that helps guide the dentist to drill precise holes for the implant (s) in a predetermined location.

Your teeth play an important role in aesthetics and in the beginning of food digestion. Teeth are important in speech development and maintenance of a variety of sounds. Your teeth maintains the shape of the lower face and supporting your lips, cheeks and facial contours and prevents a facial and bite collapse

Dental Implants are changing people's lives! They are designed to provide a strong foundation for replacement teeth that look, function and feel just like natural teeth. Each tooth appears natural and all facial contours are preserved. Dental implants help people with lost teeth regain the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence.

Mini Dental Implants

Mini implants for dentures

Mini implants are specifically for the elderly to stabilize dentures and will drastically improve function and confidence! Insertion of mini dentures is a minimally invasive procedure that creates life changing experiences

Single-tooth implant

If you're only missing a single tooth, one dental implant can easily replace it. A dental implant replaces both the tooth root and the lost natural tooth. A single dental implant offers several advantages over other tooth replacement restorations. Besides looking and functioning just like a natural tooth, a dental implant replaces a single tooth without compromising the health of neighbouring teeth.

Multi-tooth implant

When a patient has multiple teeth missing, aesthetics become an important consideration in the treatment plan. Our dentists work closely with laboratories to create an authentic, beautiful smile that will last for many years. Most patients enjoy that multiple implants allow them to smile with confidence and eat the foods they love.

Full-mouth implants

A series of implants can be used to rebuild a full row of missing teeth. Instead of requiring a dental implant per replacement tooth, full mouth dental implants leverage four to eight dental implants per row of replacement teeth for a edentulous jaw.
